Southwest Key Programs
Nonprofit organization — Website Copy, Layout, and Full Spanish Transcreation
Project Type: Bilingual web content strategy, copywriting, and UX editing
Southwest Key Programs supports immigrant children, youth, and families across the U.S. While there, I helped bring that mission to life online by ensuring their values, leadership, and impact were clearly communicated in both English and Spanish.
I wrote and edited content for key areas of their site, including:
The About Us page
The Leadership page (plus layout edits for better usability)
A series of blog posts focused on programs, people, and community impact
- Executive emails and thought leadership pieces on behalf of the CEO and senior leadership
I also led the Spanish transcreation of the entire site, ensuring that tone, nuance, and messaging landed just right for Spanish-speaking audiences. Rather than translating word-for-word, I reimagined the content to ensure clarity and emotional impact.
Outcome: A bilingual site that reflected the heart of the organization and reached a broader, more inclusive audience across the communities they serve.
