Growing up in a Spanish-speaking household and as a son of immigrants, I was an ESL student up until the 5th grade. What one doesn’t realize about these scenarios is that you also grow up being your parents IT tech support, translator, and interpreter of all things life.

I learned to break a few writing rules along the way in order for everything that is American media and branding, make sense to my parents. This is where my passion for copywriting and transcreation began.

BUT. Julian, what is transcreation? As a transcreator, I translate projects such as film and web content by using a combination of translation and copywriting skills to deliver and recreate the full essence of your message.

Both fields of work allow me to fully understand my clients’ needs and help them sell a story to the world.
